Die Abaya Maya in Raw Cotton ist wie alle anderen Mayas einfach wunderschön! 🤍 Die Farbe wirkt unglaublich elegant und lässt sich vielseitig kombinieren – es passen so viele verschiedene Hijabs dazu. Mit einem Unterkleid oder hellen Leggings darunter ist sie auch blickdicht. Ein echtes Lieblingsstück, das sich sowohl für den Alltag als auch für besondere Anlässe eignet.

Edit: I am extremely saddened a Muslim business is operating this way, blaming me for their defective product. A quick search on resell websites like vinted.nl shows ther are others with the exact issue as me or even the seams falling apart without wearing it. I wanted to spend my money on ethically sourced natural products that would last. If I wanted an abaya that could only be worn one time, I would buy from fast fashion. WoN did not respond to my email after I said a refund is the remedy I seek. Be wary of the reviews you see as they seem to block delete negative reviews. I am disappointed that this is how a supposedly ethical muslim business responded. There are hadith about merchants behaving in this manner and Allahu a'lam.

I purchased a green Maya abaya from Wraps of Nature less than a month ago, and unfortunately it is defective. The garment is torn and already falling apart at the seams. I reached out directly to the company and was offered either a €15 contribution toward a tailor’s repair or a 40% discount on a new purchase.

While I appreciate that sellers have the right to offer a remedy, in this case a repair is not a reasonable solution. I shared pictures showing a large hole in the seam and fraying in multiple areas. The material itself is tearing at the seams, which indicates a fundamental fault in the garment’s quality. A repair would only provide a temporary fix, and I would remain concerned about the abaya coming apart completely in the near future.

Under EU consumer law, a refund is an appropriate remedy when repair or replacement is unreasonable or unworkable. For this reason, I requested a full refund and offered to return the defective item at the company’s expense if they provided a return label and instructions.

I want to emphasize that I have enjoyed my other purchases from Wraps of Nature and would like to continue shopping here. I value their focus on sustainable, ethically sourced, natural fibers, and I recognize the challenges of finding consistent manufacturers. However, I do not find it ethical to sell a defective abaya and then not offer a resolution that upholds consumer rights.
